“The ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything is . . . 42!”
—Douglas Adams
I am and we are all of, half of, partial of, and none of the answers.
“42” by Kaylee was a special presentation featuring 10 dancers on a tennis court, exploring the arbitrary values associated with existence. The performance took place in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery and opened for Pongsakorn Yananissorn and Denise Holland's project, “Open Season.” The project was a public art commission included in a larger series titled, “Ten Different Things,” curated by Kate Armstrong. The series was a collaboration between CityStudio Vancouver and Living Labs at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, supported by the City of Vancouver.
“42” was published in a print and online archive: Ten Different Things.
